About NoteTaker
At its most basic level, NoteTaker is a personal note and idea organizer. With NoteTaker, you can make a list, organize an outline or jot down an idea. It’s that basic. NoteTaker’s user interface metaphor uses a visually rich ÄspiralÄ? notebook pages with section tabs. Some users will simply have one tab and a long list of outlines while others will organize entire project and research journals with many sections and many pages within those tab sections. And it makes no difference how you decide to organize and use NoteTaker, it’s flexible yet easy to understand. It’s like having electronic paper on your OS X desktop.

What’s New in this Version
- Update fixes a crash condition associated with Web Notebook creation.
- NoteTaker now includes the Sharing menu, for opening notebooks shared by NoteShare and NoteShare Server.
- NoteTaker now also includes the Sharing and Activity Monitors for working with shared notebooks.
- The Sharing Monitor and sharing edit button context menu now include iChat presence information, if iChat is running.   Click the green dot in the Sharing Monitor to start a chat session with another viewer of a shared notebook.
- NoteTaker and NoteShare now support smart quotes when run under Leopard.
- Fixed issue with plugins when specifying a 64-bit Java JVM in Java Preferences.
- New web notebook alternative index file index-iframe.html is optimized for embedding into an iframe in other web pages.  Web notebooks must be updated or regenerated for this to be added.
