Helma JavaScript Web Application Framework 1.6.3
About Helma JavaScript Web Application Framework
Helma is written in Java and employs JavaScript for its server-side scripting environment, removing the need for compilation cycles and reducing development costs while giving you instant access to leverage the whole wealth of Java libraries out there.
Helma offers simple and codeless mapping of application objects to database tables. In addition, an embedded object-oriented database performs automatic data persistence of unmapped objects.
What’s New in this Version
- The totalUploadLimit value is now also applied to ordinary form post requests.
- Now uses LinkedHashMap for property updates to preserve insertion order.
- Running Helma apps through helma.servlet.StandaloneServletClient within a servlet container was made easier by avoiding a direct dependency of helma.main.Server on Jetty.
- Relative repository paths now resolve relative to Helma home directory, fixing bug 639.
- Many more enhancements.
System Requirements
- Mac OS X 10.3 or later
