Create media-rich websites
Web pages created with iWeb can include photos, movies, podcasts, blogs, live content from other sites, and even Google Maps. Students start with an Apple-designed theme and then customize the pages exactly how they want. They can even allow others to add comments and attach files to their web pages — an ideal feature for collaborative projects.
Students can use iWeb to produce a website of famous scientists, post their reading journal as a blog, share their digital media projects, or present a local history podcast. Teachers can create a website to communicate with students’ families — displaying photos from classroom activities or details about homework assignments.
Publish with ease
With just one click, students can publish their entire site to a MobileMe Gallery*. Educators can decide who can view the student sites by using the password-protection feature of iWeb. Sites created with iWeb can also be published to a folder and then uploaded to a server other than MobileMe.
