Maine 1 to 1 Going Strong
Five years after the state of Maine provided all 7th and 8th graders with Apple notebook computers, teachers and students say they would not want to be without the technology. All Maines middle schools have elected to continue their 1 to 1 program for another 4 years, and 14 school districts have allocated district dollars to expand the program into their high schools.
