Apple Professional Services offers Systems Design and Architecture services on a billable time and materials basis. Based on your objectives, an Apple Professional Services Integration Services Consultant will audit your computing environment and deliver written recommendations for your specific project and solution. At that point, you can choose to engage Apple Professional Services for further assistance.
The Statement of Work
The Statement of Work typically consists of the following major sections:
- Required Inventory for Engagement
All hardware, software, additional infrastructure, and other items needed to complete the engagement - Preengagement Preparation
Items that must be completed by the customer or Apple prior to commencement of the engagement - Systems Architecture Overview
A review of key high-level technical concepts associated with your deployment - Installation and Configuration
An outline of the steps required to deploy your solution - Coaching and Mentoring
A one-on-one review of the key tasks involved in using, administering, and maintaining your deployment - Documentation
Deliverable documents per your requirements, such as server or network diagrams or step-by-step administration guides - Testing and Verification
Specific tests that will be run at the conclusion of the engagement to verify that your system has been successfully deployed
Your Engagement
Confirmation of Engagement
After submitting your purchase order and returning your signed Statement of Work, you will be contacted by an Apple Professional Services Engagement Manager who will be your primary point of contact for all scheduling and other engagement logistics. At this time you will receive contact information for the Consultant who has been assigned to your project.
Deployment Planning
Your assigned Consultant will contact you by phone or email to review the Required Inventory for Engagement and Preengagement Preparation sections of the Statement of Work and reconfirm the project start date and schedule.
Arrival Onsite
Your assigned Consultant will review the overall planned Systems Architecture with you and then begin working with you and your staff to put your solution into production.
Engagement Conclusion
Your assigned Consultant will provide you with any required documentation per the Statement of Work and will review with you all test criteria and results and will present you with a Confirmation of Services to complete your engagement.
After Action Report
Your assigned Consultant will deliver via email an After Action Report in PDF format recapping the engagement outcomes along with any agreed upon changes from the original scope.
