Taking data generated with proprietary code using Intel Fortran compilers, and using DataTank and Quicktime Pro, Dr. Cucchietti illustrates the dynamics of eight neighboring traps containing ultra-cold atoms when they are suddenly fused together. Density and phase information are represented, respectively, by height and color.
