Is my iTunes account name the same as my email address?

Your iTunes account name (also known as your Apple ID) can be the same as your email address, but it doesn't have to be. To change your email address without changing your account name, visit My Info, Apple's profile management tool.


I forgot my account name.

If you forgot your account name, try your current email address and recent previous email addresses. If this doesn't work, please email us using the form below. Please include your billing address in your email to us.


How do I sign in using my MobileMe account?

Easy! Simply enter your MobileMe email address and your MobileMe password in the iTunes sign-in screen. Make sure the radio button next to the Apple logo is selected.


How do I sign in using my AOL screen name?

Enter your AOL screen name and your AOL password in the iTunes sign-in screen. Don't forget to click the AOL radio button.


Where can I use my AOL screen name to sign in?

If you live in France, Germany, the US or the UK, you can sign in to the iTunes Store using your AOL screen name. If you live in one of these countries, you can create an iTunes account using your email address and a local credit card.


I don't have an AOL account or a MobileMe account. How do I update my email address in iTunes?

Easy! Just change your email address in the iTunes Account Information screen. Click the link below. We'll launch iTunes and take you directly to your Account Information screen.


My AOL account has expired. How to I update my account information in iTunes?

To convert your AOL iTunes account to regular iTunes account, attempt to log in to the iTunes Store three times with your AOL screen name and password. After the third attempt, you'll be prompted to convert your account.


My MobileMe account has expired, or will expire soon. How do I update my account information in iTunes?

Even after your MobileMe account expires, you can continue to sign in and purchase music using your old MobileMe account name and password. You should specify a new email address in My Info, though, so you can continue to receive your invoices from iTunes.


My invoices are still going to my old email address. How do I fix this?

If the correct email address is listed on your My Info page, simply add a space after your street address to update your My Info account with your new email address.
