Why wasn't my coupon or promotion applied to my order?

My credit card was charged for more than my order total.

When you place a photo order, it is necessary for Apple to request an authorization for the approximate amount of your purchase from your credit card company.
Each time you click the Buy Now button, your card is authorized. For instance, if you attempt to place an order three times, three authorizations will appear on your card.
These authorization approvals, or holds, will drop off of your card typically within three business days. Unfortunately, Apple is not able to remove these authorizations from your credit card. Please contact your credit card company for more information about when the hold will be removed.

I was charged more than once for a single order.

How do I get an invoice of my purchases?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email that includes details about your order. If you need a detailed invoice, please email us using the form below.

I'm tax exempt. How do I get a sales tax refund?

If you are a tax-exempt organization or individual, you can request a sales tax refund by faxing a copy of your state tax-exemption certificate to 512-674-2068. You must provide proof of state tax-exempt status for the state where the product is being shipped, and the organization or individual name on the order must exactly match the state tax-exempt certificate. Federal tax exemption certificates are not accepted.
Please allow 5-7 business days for Apple to verify that you qualify for a sales-tax refund, and to issue a refund to your credit card.

Why was I charged sales tax on my shipping charge?

Shipping charges are subject to all applicable taxes in Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, MIssissippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

How will the charge show up on my credit card?

The charge for your photo purchase will appear on your credit card statement as APL*APPLE ONLINE STORE.

When will my credit card be charged?

We don't think you should pay for your order until it is actually on its way to you, therefore, we will not charge your credit card until your products are actually shipped.
