If your iPhone requires service only because the battery's ability to hold an electrical charge has diminished, your battery can be replaced for a service charge. Be sure to follow these instructions for optimizing life span and battery life before submitting your iPhone for battery replacement.

How do I participate in the program?

You can take your iPhone to your carrier. You can also contact Apple Technical Support or take your iPhone to an Apple Retail Store.

How much does it cost to participate in the program?

The program cost is £ 55.00 (includes VAT), plus £ 7.13 shipping and handling, includes VAT. All fees are in British Pound Sterling.

Will the data on my iPhone be preserved?

No, the service process will clear all data from your iPhone. It is important to sync your iPhone with iTunes to back up your contacts, photos, email account settings, text messages, and more. Apple is not responsible for the loss of information while servicing your iPhone and does not offer any data transfer service. Please do not send any accessories with your iPhone.

How long will service take?

Service through Apple Technical Support normally takes one week (five business days) from the date the unit is shipped to us. Time may vary if it is done through your carrier or an Apple Retail Store.
